Why Is Making Money Online Through Personal Brand Difficult?

Making Money Online

There are two main things you should focus on when making money online. The first part is the product or service you have to offer to customers. This is the easy part. I am a firm believer that you can make money selling anything. This includes things like rocks, NFTs, and bathwater. With a large number of no-code platforms, creators can quickly reach their audience, and the barrier to entry for creating products/services is always low.

The second (and more difficult) part of this process is finding and creating an audience to sell these products and services. If you plan your offer well, there will be buyers ready to buy. The challenge is just letting them know you exist. In this article, we’ll discuss how to build and market your personal business so you can start making your first few dollars online!

1. Platform Selection And Setup

One of the most important decisions you will make when creating your personal brand is the platform you will use. There are thousands of platforms out there, but for simplicity let’s stick to the big ones:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Email list
  • YouTube channel
  • Twitter
  • Reddit

Before choosing a platform, first, define your audience. Once defined, you should ask yourself “What platform do they use most?” I’ve developed a community on many of these platforms, and in my experience, I’ve found that Instagram and YouTube work best for most niches. Once you find this, you can move on to the second part!

2. Content Creation

With the rise of making money online and side hustles, there is a good chance that others will offer the same product or service that you offer. The best way to overcome this and build trust with future customers is to create content. Good content tells a story and is authentic and useful. Making sure your content includes all three of these elements will not only bring you sales, but it will also allow you to pay more. You can check out the incredible content developed by Tradekey.com for its customers.

Among the platforms listed above, I particularly like YouTube. The longer you can keep people consuming your content, the easier it will be to sell to them over time. YouTube is the perfect platform to do this because you can hold people for a long time.

Another method I like to engage my audience with my content is Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook Stories. Keeping your story is an easy way to express your life. If you have a clear audience, you can present your life in a way that suits your audience. Uploading an article is a great way to build credibility and make your brand stand out.

3. Selling And Staying Organized

If you were to ask the owners of online schools where most of their sales come from, most of them will tell you that these people come from their free content and they are looking for more information.

It’s easy to open an ad, but it’s hard to convert this cold traffic because of a lack of trust. The easiest way to sell to your audience is through the free content you offer. When you’re giving away this free content, you want to make sure you’re always posting it, along with your rant.

After your first few sales, you will soon realize that it is about time. Sometimes people can’t afford to buy things today. However, if you focus on your content creation, you will end up catching the same audience at the right time and making sales. I love working with clients who come this way because they already know what I do, build trust, and have the desire to buy. This is one of the many long-term benefits of having a personal brand.

When it comes to making money online, there are no shortcuts. Of course, you can buy advertising – but again, it is difficult to change traffic due to a lack of trust. If you really want to make money online eventually, you need to have a personal brand or you will be left out.
